On May 12, EU Centre invited Dr. Wolfgang Pape, the author of < Opening of Omnilateralism>, for a special lecture. Titled "The EU as a Stepping-stone to Omnilateralism, " the lecture covered the concept of Omnilateralism. Throughout the presentation, Dr. Wolfgang Pape stressed that the current global issues, including COVID-19 and climate changes, require global solutions based on East-West and North-South cooperation. He also highlighted the limitation of national sovereignty and introduced examples of Omnilateral governance. After the lecture, the floor was open to participants for the Q & A session. All of the participants actively participate in the discussion session. Dr. Heungchong Kim, the current President of Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), Professor Sebastian Bersick from Bochum University, and Professor Saewon Chung from Pukyong National University, also provided their insights. Students actively asked questions to get an insight into the overall concept of Omnilateralism.
