Starting the call for papers this February, this July 2022 Academic Essay Contest ended successfully. It sought to contribute to the lasting partnership between the EU and Korea in all aspects of culture, economics, politics, and security. Our EU centre provided a valuable opportunity for students to conduct in-depth intellectual research related to the EU and its relations with Korea. The contest sought to improve students' academic talents through multidisciplinary research based on their major disciplines. By preparing their essays, participating students could better understand EU policies and suggest ways to strengthen international alliances. The winning entries were selected according to a range of criteria, including logicality, accuracy, and creativity. And the winners were also given a small prize money for their excellent work and contribution. The top three entries can be found on the EU Centre's website.
