The 2021 Academic Essay Contest was opened to KU students at all academic levels. It seeks contributions to the lasting partnership between the EU and Korea in all aspects of culture, economics, politics, and security. Our centre provides a valuable opportunity for students to conduct in-depth intellectual research related to the EU and its relations with Korea. The contest seeks to improve students' academic talents through multidisciplinary research based on their major disciplines. By preparing their essays, participating students could better understand EU policies and suggest ways to strengthen international alliances. Winning entries was selected according to a range of criteria, including logicality, accuracy, and creativity. In light of the worsening Covid-19 situation in Seoul, the three selected teams visited the KU EU Centre to be awarded certificates and cash prizes. All selected papers are available below.
