Professor Chung from Pukyong National University gave a lecture about Education and Linguistic Diversity. The lecture was divided into three parts: education and training, 8 areas of E & T policies, and multilingualism and social inclusion. First of all, the importance of education was dealt with. Whether it is for job training, better career, or the academics itself, education is significant. The EU supports education and training (E & T) from early childhood education to vocational training. Adult learning, higher education, international cooperation, and policy dialogues are the long-term life education the EU tries to provide. Lastly, multilingualism or learning several languages is critical, especially in promoting the integration.
