Summary of the Presentation: Trade and Investment [PASIERBIAK & BIALOWAS]

Professor Pasierbiak and Bialowas presented their research plans about the EU-Asia trade and investment policies. 

Their preliminary assessment is that further trade liberalization through the EU-Asia connectivity will generate greater benefits in several Asian developing countries than in Europe. 

Their research aims to: 

 - produce an analysis of EU-Asia trade and investment policy development; 

 - produce an analysis of trade and foreign direct investment flows; 

 - provide assessments and explain the potential effects of trade and investment agreements when entering into force; 

 - and estimate the effects of trade and investment policy liberalization
