The Jean Monnet EU Centre of Excellence receives academic papers on Europe-Asia connectivity for its Junior Research Fellowship Program. Małgorzata Twarowska-Ratajczak

 (PhD from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University) was recognized for the research on "Tax competition or tax cooperation - evidence from European and Asian countries." The paper  analyzes the risks associated with tax competition and tax havens,  assesses the actions taken by OECD and the G-20 to enhance tax cooperation and eliminate tax evasion, and analyzes the benefits and risks of the introduction of BEPS for European and Asian countries as well as global economy.
