●    1. Europe`s internal contradictions and differences among east, west, south and north European counties intensified, such as the significant different interest focus owing to economic development imbalance, the discrepancies of governing ideals between EU and Member States.

●    2. The anxieties about refugees and immigration that will not be resolved in the short term.

●    3. Traditional mainstream political consensus has been beginning to fade away, European political parties` ecological environment has been changed. 

●    4. Taking national interests more seriously than European integration, the process of European integration has stagnated.

●    5. Europe`s external risks are increasing, Trump`s America first, security challenge from Russia, strong market competition from China economy.
