l  This event started by screening two short European films--<Swans: Swedish Movie “Swans”> and <Norwegian Movie “Snowman”>.

l  Dr. Ha Yoon Jung delivered the lecture titled “Nordic Model, Social Safety Net, and Family.”

l  The speaker first addressed the specialty of the Nordic welfare system by looking at the social safety net helping the weak and the families. 

l  The speaker then compared with Korean welfare system to emphasize the role of the government.  

l  The speaker finalized her lecture by pointing out some implications to the Korean government. (regarding building Korean social safety)
