Dear all NEAR friends,

KU begins its special lecture series for the second year of the project. We believe the environment is an vital agenda for the our future. This project, KU-KIEP-SBS EU Centre and German Embassy in Korea are co-organising the special lecture with exhibition at the International Studies Hall at KU. On 10 October, Mr. Weert Borner (Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy) spoke us about Germany's climate diplomacy and possible cooperation between Germany and Korea. After his lecture, several students asked the questions regarding the possible obstacles between developed and developing economies, possible incentives to R&D sectors, disaster cooperation and R&D sectors, and possible cooperation/synergies with the EU regarding Germany's climate diplomatic actions.
