-The European integration has been progressing in both the real side and the monetary side since the very beginnings of the European integration. - In response to the euro crisis, the EU rapidly introduced measures to improve governance, such as revised Stability and Growth Pact, Six Pack, TSCG (Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance), Two-Pack and Euro Plus Pact. - In post-crisis Europe, a split developed between Member States with sound public finances and relatively strong economies on the one hand, and those with large public deficits and debts as well as weaker economies on the other. - Will Japan experience a crisis? That depends on, questions such as, “Has Japan borrowed too much?”, “Is Japan earning enough money now?” and “Is Japan likely to earn more money in the future?” - Japan could learn from the EU “ We can't solve the world's problems by using the same type of thinking we used when we created them.” |
