l Dr. Pacheco Pardo seeks the EU’s possible role in the peacemaking process of the Korean peninsula.
l He provided examples of the EU’s perspectives, policy, initiatives and strategic movements.
l He made some assessments and reflections on such examples to draw out the EU’s standings.
l In conclusion, he suggested the EU has supportive attitudes to South Korea’s engagement policy, and the EU’s critical engagement policy provides some scope for diplomacy and engagement.
