Dear all NEAR friends,

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) hosted a special lecture by Vivek Katju (Former Ambassador to Afghanistan) on 7 March 2018. Based on his knowledge and experiences in Afghanistan, Mr. Katju delivered the lecture under the title of “India, Europe/EU and Afghanistan”. He covered a variety of issues including the country’s history in the 19^th century, Indian and West European approaches to the Afghan Jihad, and terrorism.
