On April 9 2019 German Deputy Head of Mission, Mr Weert Börner, gave a special lecture on German Energiewender. The lecture was an extension of the on-going exhbition organised by the Embassy of Germany to Korea and hosted by Korea University and it was a meaningful time for the students to learn about the examplary energy transition policies and broaden their understanding regarding Green Energy in general.
The students actively engaged in discussions with questions about the German experience of conversion from use of traditional energy sources to that of alternative energy sources and what current administration can learn from the German case.
After an hour of lecture, Mr Börner gave the students a brief yet informative tour of the exihibition which helped the students to have a deeper appreciation for the alternative energy.
