NCRE hosted Europa Lecture "Christchurch Call--Bringing the Conversation Home" on June 27, 2019 with the co-organisation of EUC Network (EUCN) and NZ Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA) Christchurch Branch. This lecture is followed by the devastating mosque attacks in Christchurch on March 15. Afterward, Jacinda Ardern (NZ Prime Minister) and Emmanuel Macron (French President) met to adopt the 'Christchurch Call, which aims to combat online terrorism and violent extremism."
