Daviti Mtchedlishvili's doctoral research looks at Europeanisation process in the South Caucasus.
He has published a book on "Europeanisation process in Georgia during the period from 2003 to 2014."
He shared the contents of his book published recently with UC students, academics and other interests group.

Europeanization Process in Georgia during the period from 2003 to 2014
Georgia is an extreme case to investigate the Europeanization process beyond EU borders, whereas development policy paradigms in a critical juncture of reformist impulseand thus, to evaluate the effects of External Governance pressures and the impact of the EU on shaping the course of country's politics. In the contest of Europeanziation process in the Eastern Neighborhood of the European Union, Georgia reveals a successful case regarding political and economic reforms, its strong co-operation willingness with the EU, its high interest in becoming the EU member, its choices, aspirations and identity and foreign policy orientation. We have more to learn from Georgia about the effects of Europeanization precess and creation and transformation of institutional changes. Thus, the case study of Georgia allows deriving scientific conclusions about the process.
