 On 16 April, Ambassador of Georgia to Republic of Korea His Excellency Otar Berdzenishvili gave a lecture entitled, "Georgia's EU Integration Process and Relations with Korea" at International Studies Hall, Korea University.

 Ambassador Berdzenishvili introduced the history of Georgia, its conflicts with neighbouring Russia, and its efforts to be a Member State of the European Union with various reforms in place. He also emphasised the similarities between Georgia and Korea in cultural and linguistic perspectives. The lecture was well-received by a large group of students interested to learn about Georgia and its international standing.
