 On 8 March 2018, Case Handler at Directorate-General for Trade of European Commission Ms Helene Juramy was invited to give a special lecture on trade policy of the European Union and the trade ties with South Korea at the International Studies Hall, Korea University. 

 Despite being the first week of school, many participants  - most of whom students at the Korea University - were present for the lecture.

 The lecture encompassed a brief introduction of the European Union in general and its trade relations with the world focusing on its "Trade for All" strategy which is the fundamental principle in trading that emphasises the importance of core values such as human rights, sustainable development and safety regulation as well as transparency of the trading partners.
