KU-KIEP-SBS EU Centre’s Journalist Traineeship Programme offered supplementary funding to Korean journalists visiting the EU for overseas traineeships. The aim of this programme is to encourage more Korean journalists to apply for overseas traineeships in the EU, to deepen Korean journalists’ understanding of the EU, and to bring more news on EU affairs to the Korean media in the long run. Under the programme, Mr. Hyung Taek Jung, the journalist and the Department Head of Future & Vision Desk at SBS, visited Germany from April 19 to 25 for his report on “Social Mobility in Europe: Learning Opportunities for All.” This special report which covers EU policies was aired on SBS 8 News on 3 May 2015.
