2014 KU Summer Course - DISS 427

Together with European Commission,the KU-KIEP-SBS EU Centre offered a course entitled International Relations of the European Union (DISS 427) during summer session (June 23-July 17).

The course was conducted by Prof. Jae-Seung Lee, inviting a group of EU experts to deliver their knowledge and insights to help students to understand the basic institutions and functions of the EU, the EU’s foreign policy, the EU’s economic policy and the EU’s role in global relations.

Prof. Sung-Won Yoon from University of Suwon, taught basic understanding on the EU. Professor Oung Byun, a visiting professor at Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and Professor Hae-Won Jun at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) gave lectures on political relations of the EU. Prof. Sung-Hoon Park, Dr. Heung Chong Kim (Vice President, KIEP) and Prof. Robert Rudolf delivered economic relations of the EU. Prof. Nam-Kook Kim covered the citizenship and human right of the EU.
