On 26 November, KU-KIEP-SBS EU Centre hosted a GPAS/FES Special Lecture by Dr. John J. Maresca, who was the US Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and served as Rector of the United Nations mandated University for Peace (UPEACE) in Costa Rica (until February 2013). He shared his view on "Negotiating for Peace – Learning from the Helsinki Experience" and discussed current issues in security.
