5월 주한유럽대사 강연 시리즈

KU-KIEP-SBS EU센터에서 유럽의 날(5월 9일)을 기념하여 주한유럽대사들을 모시고 특별 강연을 개최합니다.

본 센터는 유럽연합 집행위원회(European Commission)가 지원하는 쟝 모네 네트워크(Jean Monnet Networks) 프로젝트를 수주하여 2016년 9월부터 “A New Dimension in Asia-Europe Relations: Exploring EU’s Global Actorness and Strategic Partnership in Asia(China, India, Japan and South Korea)”의 주제 하에 본교 쟝 모네 석좌교수이신 박성훈 교수를 비롯해서 중국 푸단대학교, 일본 게이오대학교, 인도 자와할랄네루대학교, 뉴질랜드 캔터베리대학교의 쟝 모네 석좌교수 및 유럽연합(EU) 전문가 총 13명이 운영해오고 있습니다.

유럽의 날(5월 9일)을 기념하여 쟝 모네 네트워크 프로젝트의 일환으로 아래와 같이 주한독일대사, 주한유럽연합대사, 주한덴마크대사를 모시고 각 주제별로 의미있는 시간을 갖고자 하오니 관심 있는 학생들의 많은 참여를 바랍니다.

                                       Ambassador Lecture Series

KU-KIEP-SBS EU Centre is hosting the Ambassadors of EU Member States to celebrate Europe Day on the 9th of May.

The Centre launched a Jean Monnet Network project with four leading universities in Asia-Pacific region - Fudan University (China), Keio University (Japan), Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) and University of Canterbury (New Zealand) - in September 2016. The leaders of each university are Jean Monnet Chairs who aim to build bridges between academics, researchers and EU policymakers. Only 800 professors were selected worldwide which means a very prestigious position for European Studies. Within KU, Prof. Sung-Hoon Park (Graduate School of International Studies) and Prof. Nam-Kook Kim (Department of Political Science and International Relations) were selected as Jean Monnet Chairs. This network was established for investigating the new aspects of relationship between the EU and four Asian strategic partners — namely China, India, Japan and South Korea.

To commemorate Europe Day (9 May), Ambassadors of Germany, European Union and Denmark are invited to deliver speech at Korea University. We cordially invite you to attend these honouring lectures and look forward to seeing you.
