The EU Delegation to the Republic of Korea in organizing a Model European Union (MEU2022) simulation on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 May 2022.

The Model EU simulation combines students from all over the Republic of Korea to discuss and debate important issues for the European Union. MEU2022 will focus on cyberspace and will simulate a Council of the European Union (EU) meeting. Students will play the roles of EU Commission’s representatives, Secretariat of the Council of the EU, national ministers for health of the 27 EU Member States and journalists. The three best students will win the possibility to travel to Brussels (Belgium) to attend a 10-days summer school, sponsored by the EU.

Prior to the simulation, students will complete a 10-hour online training programme. The online training will provide participants with the necessary background information to prepare for the MEU simulation.

The Model European Union is hosted by the EU delegation in Korea and is an event where Korean students can play the role of ministers from the 27 European Member States.

This spring let’s join heated debates on important international issues like cyber security.
