The EU Centre hosted a 2024 Academic Essay Contest for undergraduate and graduate students, attracting a considerable number of submissions on the topic: “Green Partnership between the EU and Korea”. Applications were open till February 14, 2025.
The winner was the work titled "Green-Skilled Migrant Workers: Linking Dots between the Republic of Korea and the European Union Towards a Just Transition". This essay was written together by three students - Minjin Cho (Department of Sustainable Development and Cooperation, Yonsei University), Yongeun Kim (Department of Sociology, Korea University), and Juhee Park (Department of English Language and Literature, Korea University).
The award was received by Juhee Park as the representative of the group.
The Centre congratulated all participants for their hard work and insightful contributions, fostering a stimulating academic environment for dialogue and knowledge exchange.
