First session of the Summer School was held on June 24, 2024. Professor Heungchong Kim discussed a brief history of European Integration while also talking about the process of institutionalization of European Integration. Students learned about various period in European history covering the interwar period from 1920 to 1930, the first recession from 1931 to 1945. frog-leaping development from 1846 to 1967, etc. While learning about the integration process, students covered economic integration, political integration, and social integration. Thus, the first session of summer school laid a solid background on European history for the students to develop their knowledge in future sessions.
