In the second session of the Summer School, Professor Heung Chong Kim focused on European institutions as he talked about the Treaty of Lisbon, institutional framework, etc. and explained institutional dynamics. Thus the main objective of this session was to make students understand EU's major institutions and their working. Major institutions covered during the session included European Parliament, European Council, Council of the EU, and the European Commission. In addition, institutional framework of European Court of Justice and European Central Bank were also discussed.
