Session fourteen, delivered by Professor Heung Chong Kim, focused on the United Kingdom in the post-Brexit context. Using this case, Professor Kim discussed the costs and benefits of EU membership, the background and drivers of Brexit, and its impact on the UK economy. The session also examined the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement and highlighted key political and economic challenges facing the UK after Brexit. Overall, the session provided a balanced assessment of Brexit’s consequences and its implications for both the UK and the European Union.
