The Nordic Korea Innovation Days 2025 was successfully held in Seoul from May 13 to 18, 2025, jointly hosted by the Jean Monnet EU Center of Excellence at Korea University and the Nordic Embassies in Korea (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden), with support from the Nordic Council of Ministers. Under the theme “Nordic Korea Innovation for Resilient Societies,” the program brought together stakeholders from government, industry, and academia to explore shared challenges and innovative solutions across the areas of health, security, equality, prosperity, and happiness.
The week-long program featured five thematic seminars, beginning with a plenary session on resilience and innovation, followed by focused discussions on MedTech innovation, national preparedness and digital security, inclusion and gender equality in maritime innovation, and green growth through electrification. In addition, a public outreach component was held through a Nordic booth at the Seoul Outdoor Library on May 17–18, offering cultural activities and a Nordic picture book exhibition for the general public. The event served as a meaningful platform for strengthening Korea–Nordic cooperation and fostering future dialogue on innovation for resilient societies.
